We achieved to reduce the number of duplicate locations and fix the user experience during the address provider/selector. We dropped the number of duplicating locations from 6724 to 1000.
Since this one of my very first projects into Tive, I decided to make a competitor analysis by providing high level of visibility of each competitor.

USER OBSERVATION
To gain a better understanding of user location management I observed users on fullstory.
Some of the problems I saw during observation:
- Were not aware that there are duplicate locations
- The address search box was not working properly
- 4/5 users tried to search the address by writing street number first
- The design was not providing clear identification that the location already exists.

I created a journey map to visualize the current duplicate creation experience, and then figure out how to best fix it.

I identified the two major paths users could take to achieve the path described in the task flow above.

After building up the user flow, I started to ideate on how we want to build the location management.

Based on the ideation I designed and prototyped a solution. Solution also has STRETCH items for future work which will help more the duplicating process.

Full User flow

Since most of the users are finding it hard to manually create locations for ports, we are looking forward to provide some automatic locations for most used ports across the world.
